James Barker Band
Fresh off of their recent gold certifications for “Chills” and “Lawn Chair Lazy,” the James Barker Band is excited to announce their national tour with CCMA Female Artist of the Year / CCMA Rising Star Award Winner Meghan Patrick and special guest Jojo Mason.

“This last year has been a crazy and humbling ride. Now we’re excited to come celebrate with country music lovers from
coast to coast and our good pals Meghan Patrick and Jojo Mason. This is gonna be one for the ages. Get your tickets fast so we’re sure we’ll get the chance to party together. GAME ON!” stated James Barker.

The James Barker Band has had a record-setting year since the release of their first single “Lawn Chair Lazy” in May 2016, which was the highest debuting Canadian Country single of all time as well as recently being certified gold. James Barker Band followed up with their sophomore single “Just Sayin’”, and the #1 and gold certified single “Chills”. In addition to their record-setting year, the James Barker Band has opened dates for Keith Urban, Deirks Bentley, Brothers Osbourne, and Dean Brody as well as playing festivals such as Country Thunder, Craven Jamboree, Boots & Hearts, and Dauphin Countryfest.

James Barker Band will be joined by this year’s winner of the CCMA Female Artist of the Year and CCMA Rising Star awards, Meghan Patrick. Since being signed to Warner Music Canada, and releasing her debut album “Grace & Grit”, Meghan has shared the stage and toured with the likes of Keith Urban, Blake Shelton, Tom Cochrane, Kip Moore and Dwight Yoakam, and has played such events as the Calgary Stampede, Havelock Jamboree and Lucknow Music in the Fields.

“I’m really excited to team up with my great friends and take this show coast-to-coast! It’s going to be a party!” explained Meghan Patrick. Joining the tour as a special guest will be 604 Records / Sony Recording Artist Jojo Mason whom recently celebrated his fourth consecutive Top 10 single, and is one of the most infectious entertainers in the country.

Meghan Patrick
2017 CCMA Female Artist & Rising Star Award Winner, Meghan Patrick was borm and raised in Bowmanville, Ontario.  Dedicating her entire life to music, wanting it to be more than just a passion. “I was drawn to playing guitar so I could start writing music to go along with the words I was writing. I wanted to be self-sufficient as a creative artist.”  It wasn’t long until Meghan had mastered both electric and acoustic guitar as well as the banjo.

Meghan’s debut album, Grace and Grit was released in the spring of 2017, and worked with producers Justin Niebank (Vince Gill, LeAnn Rimes), Vince Gill, Chris Baseford (Nickelback, Avril Lavigne) and Carly McKillip.  To add even more star power to her debut Meghan brought in a few more big names, including multiple Grammy nominee Joe Nichols who duets with her on “Still Loving You,” and fellow Canadian Chad Kroeger, who co-wrote and produced her forthcoming debut single “Bow Chicka Wow Wow” along with several other cuts on the album.

The songs Meghan writes are about real-life situations and are both personal and autobiographical. They are story songs, but they are her stories which infuse the material with an authenticity and sincerity that is palpable.

“I have to feel connected to the music, especially when I am playing live. The emotions I write about are real and audiences know when you are being true to yourself. Performing my own music and forming a bond with my audience is what I do this for. And that’s the most enjoyable thing in the world.”
