Harlequin’s first release Victim of a Song (1979) reached Canadian gold status with songs like “Sweet Things In Life” and “You Are The Light” which introduced the band to radio across Canada. The second platinum selling release, Love Crimes (1980), powered by hits “Innocence”, & “Thinking Of You” which continue to be played on rock radio to this day. One False Move (1982) cemented the band’s radio success with tunes like “I Did It For Love,” and “Superstitious Feeling” Harlequin remains a staple of rock radio, Theatre & Rock Festivals in Canada, where the band’s old and new hits still receive remarkable amounts of airplay.
