TABLE GAMES

At Club Regent Casino, variety is the name of the game! The Casino offers a wide range of gaming options to suit all types of play and personal interest.

How-To Play Blackjack

TEXAS HOLD’EM BONUS

TEXAS HOLD’EM BONUS

Object of the Game

Texas Hold’em Bonus™ is a community based card game. Each Player and the Dealer is dealt a two card hand that can be used in any combination along with the five board cards (community cards) to form the best five card Poker hand.

The object of the game is for the Player to achieve a higher ranking Poker hand than the Dealer. Each Player plays their poker hand only against the Dealer.

There is also an optional “Bonus Jackpot” side bet in addition to the basic game bet where Players compare their two card hand versus a posted paytable. Players need not win the basic game in order to be paid on the side bet, provided the side bet was placed prior to any cards being dealt. Refer to the Bonus Jackpot Payout Table for acceptable winning hands and their respective payouts.

Game Overview

  1. A maximum of seven Players may participate.
  2. Texas Hold’em Bonus™ is a game played with one deck of standard playing cards (52 cards). The cards are shuffled either manually or by using an automatic shuffler.
  3. After the Dealer announces “No more bets” and the first card is dealt, Players are not permitted to alter or touch any bets.
  4. Players are permitted to touch their own playing cards.
  5. Each Player is required to keep their cards over the table and in full view of the Dealer at all times.
Squeeze Baccarat

Squeeze Baccarat

Squeeze Baccarat is a variation of Baccarat that allows an individual player the opportunity to hold and view a hand, depending on the ranking of their wager.

The player’s options and object of the game are the same as Midi-Baccarat.

Roulette

Roulette

In Roulette, players have a variety of betting options. The winning number is determined by the ball falling into a numbered pocket. Losing bets are cleared and winning bets are paid. The ball is spun the opposite direction to the wheel. Rules of the Game:

1. Players may place bets on the inside numbers, and outside numbers at the same time. All posted table limits must be adhered to. Inside and outside bets have separate minimums and maximums, and are considered separate bets.

2. Each of the inside and outside bets has its own unique set of payout odds.

3. Players are responsible for the correct positioning of their wagers on the layout.

4. When two or more Players wish to bet on the same number, the second Player places their chip(s) on top of the first Player’s bet.

5. Cash wagers will not be accepted. All currency tendered will be exchanged by the dealer for either value chips, roulette colour chips or a combination of both.

Let It Ride

Let It Ride

Object of the Game

In the game of Let it Ride, the object of the game is to achieve a poker hand, containing minimally, a pair of tens but in this game the Player is not playing against other Players or the Dealer. Winning hands are achieved by taking into account the Dealers cards (also known as the community cards) and the Players cards. Refer to the table at the end of this document for acceptable winning hands and their respective payouts.

Game Overview

  1. A maximum of seven Players may participate.
  2. Let it Ride is a game played with one deck of standard playing cards (52 cards). The cards either manually shuffled or by using an automatic shuffler.
  3. All bets must be placed prior to the Dealer announcing “no more bets”. No additional bets will be accepted, and Players are not permitted to alter or touch any bet once the dealer has announced “no more bets”.
  4. Cash wagers will not be accepted. All currency tendered will be exchanged by the Dealer for value chips.
  5. Players are permitted to touch their own playing cards.
  6. Players cannot look at their cards until the Dealer has verified that all cards are accounted for and ensured that the correct number of cards are in play. 6.1 This verification is performed by the Dealer either by counting down the unused cards for a manual shuffle or by ensuring the green light is activated on the automatic shuffler.
  7. Each Player is required to keep their cards over the table and in full view of the Dealer at all times.
  8. Once each Player has tucked their cards, the Player may not touch the cards again.
High Card Flush

High Card Flush

Object of the Game

In High Card Flush, each Player plays against the Dealer and not against other Players. There are multiple wagers that may be made by a Player. Ranking of hands are based upon the number of cards of the same suit (a Flush) in the Player’s or Dealer’s hand. The Ante and Raise wagers correspond to the Player’s hand versus the Dealer’s hand, and Players win if their hand contains more cards of the same suit than the Dealer’s, regardless of suit.

The Flush and Straight Flush bonus side wagers are based upon comparing the Player’s hand to a predetermined paytable. These wagers remain in action even if the Player folds during play and forfeits their Ante and Raise wagers.

Game Overview

  1. A maximum of six Players may participate.
  2. High Card Flush is played with one deck of standard playing cards (52 cards). The cards are either manually shuffled or by using an automatic shuffler.
  3. After the Dealer announces “No more bets” and the first card is dealt, Players are not permitted to alter or touch any bet wagered.
  7. Each Player is required to keep their cards over the table and in full view of the Dealer at all times.
  8. The Player may not touch the cards after they have folded them, placed the Raise wager, or tucked them under the Straight Flush
Free Bet Blackjack

Free Bet Blackjack

Free Bet Blackjack

Free Bet Blackjack lets you double down and split...for free! If you choose the free bet option, the dealer will place a special lammer next to your original wager. If you end up winning the hand, you get paid as if you had made a traditional split or double, even though you didn’t put any additional money at risk.

Getting Started

Make a bet to play against the dealer. You and the dealer will receive two starting cards, as in standard blackjack.

Free Split

You may free split any pairs, except for 10-value cards. Free re-splitting is allowed. Aces can only be split once and will receive one card on each Ace.

Free Double

You may free double any two-card hard 9, 10, or 11. Free doubling after splitting is allowed, when the above doubling rule is followed.

Push 22

If the dealer busts with a point total of 22, all primary bets you have left in action are pushes. The Pot of Gold side wagers will still be paid as per the pay table if the hand received any lammers. Note: Player blackjacks are paid before the dealer hits out his hand, so they are not affected by the Push 22 rule.

Pot of Gold

Place a wager on the Pot of Gold bet spot. The more lammers you collect, the more you win. Payouts are based on the total number of Free Bet Lammers collected per blackjack hand.

See pay table for odds.

Note: All Pot of Gold wagers lose to a dealer blackjack.

EZ Pai Gow

EZ Pai Gow

The object of the game is to create two poker hands that rank higher than the Dealer’s. In EZ Pai Gow, each Player’s hand is compared to the Dealer’s hand; there is no option for the Player to bank.

EZ Pai Gow plays the same as the regular game with an important exception: EZ Pai Gow replaces the taking of the commission on every player’s winning hand by pushing one specific Dealer’s hand – a Queen high Pai Gow. A Pai Gow is a hand of seven different ranks which does not contain a straight, a flush, a straight flush, or a royal flush. It is a hand defined by a high card. If the Dealer’s hand is a Pai Gow with the highest card being a Queen, then the player’s wager on the base game will push regardless of whether the player’s hand would otherwise win or lose. The appearance of this hand is called the Queen’s Dragon™.

Game Overview

  1. A maximum of six players may participate.
  2. EZ Pai Gow is played with one deck of standard playing cards (52 cards), plus one Joker. The cards are either manually shuffled or by using an automatic shuffler. The Joker can be used as an Ace or to complete a straight, flush or straight flush.
  3. Hands are played and ranked as traditional poker hands, except that A-2-3-4-5 (Bike) is the second highest straight, beaten only by an A-K-Q-J-10 Straight, and the five card hand must be higher than the two card hand.
  4. An EZ Pai Gow hand consists of two separate hands; a five card hand (high hand) and a two card hand (low hand).
  5. All bets must be placed prior to the Dealer announcing “no more bets”. No additional bets will be accepted, and Players are not permitted to alter or touch any bet wagered once the dealer has announced “no more bets”.
  6. Players cannot look at their cards until the Dealer has verified that all cards are accounted for and ensured that the correct number of cards are in play.
  7. Each Player is required to keep their cards over the table and in full view of the Dealer at all times.
  8. Once each Player has set their hands and placed them on the appropriate spots, Players may not touch their cards again.
EZ Baccarat

EZ Baccarat

Object of the Game

The Player is given the option of betting on the Banker, Player, Tie, Panda 8™ or Dragon 7™. The goal is to achieve a total closest to nine.

Once all cards have been dealt, the hand with the highest total point count is declared the winner. In the case where Banker’s point count equals 7 with a total of three cards and Player’s point count is lower than 7, the dealer declares the hand a “Dragon 7”. In the case where Player’s point count equals 8 with a total of three cards and Banker’s point count is lower than 8, the dealer declares the hand a “Panda 8”. In the case where both total point counts are equal, the dealer declares the hand a Tie.

Game Overview

  1. EZ Baccarat can be played on a seven seat (Mini) table or nine seat (Midi) table.
  2. EZ-Baccarat is a game played with eight decks of standard playing cards (416 cards) out of a card shoe. The cards are either manually shuffled or by using an automatic shuffler.
  3. A maximum of six cards are dealt per round.
  4. All bets must be placed prior to the Dealer announcing “no more bets”. After the first card is dealt, no additional bets are accepted and players are not allowed to touch any bet wagered.
  5. Side wagers do not have to be accompanied by a Primary wager.
  6. Cash wagers will not be accepted. All currency tendered will be exchanged by the Dealer for value chips.
  7. Only the Dealer may touch the cards. Players are never allowed to touch the cards.

Additional Wagers

Dragon 7™ and Panda 8™

A Banker that wins with a three card total of 7 is called a Dragon 7; and optional bets made on this winning outcome are paid 40 to 1. The Banker side is a “Push”. All other bets lose.

A Player that wins with a three card total of 8 is called a Panda 8; and optional bets made on this winning outcome are paid 25 to 1. The player side is paid even money. All other bets lose.

EZ Baccarat, Dragon 7, Panda 8 and DEQ and designs are trademarks of DEQ System Corp.

Poker FAQ

Who qualifies for re-entry?
When a player who has lost all of their chips from the original buy-in wishes to re-join a tournament within the registration period, they can do this by paying a re-entry fee. This player would pay the full entry fee again and be considered a brand new player.

What is a multi-table satellite tournament?
A multi-table satellite is a tournament that gives players the opportunity to gain entry to a bigger buy-in event (eg. $600 event) for a smaller entry fee. For every 10 players who enter at the smaller amount, they will collectively generate the money needed to get a ticket for the bigger event at later date (eg. $60 x 10 = $600). We typically have an admin fee of $10 per player for our satellite offerrings.
