FireHouse’s music has taken them around the world and produced Gold, Platinum and Multi-Platinum records in the United States and countries abroad.

In 1990, their first album, entitled FireHouse, was released including the single Don’t Treat Me Bad, which became their first Top Ten hit. This was followed by Love of a Lifetime, which also entered the Top Ten,reaching the #3 spot on the United States charts.

This string of hits vaulted their first album to double platinum status in the United States; also going gold in Canada, Japan and Singapore.

At the 1991 American Music Awards, Firehouse found themselves standing before the nation accepting the award for Best New Hard Rock/Metal Band, chosen over Nirvana and Alice in Chains.

2019 saw the return of Streetheart to playing live shows after a two year hiatus to mark and honour the passing of lead vocalist Kenny Shields in 2017.'

Original founding members Daryl Gutheil and Ken “Spider” Sinnaeve along with long time Streetheart alumnus Jeff Neill were joined by Paul McNair (Harlequin) on lead vocals to reignite the songs and legacy of one of Canada’s most iconic R&R bands.

Since the band’s inception in 1977, Streetheart has always prided itself in presenting their music with the highest level of skill, energy and execution and the new lineup has delivered on their promise to continue that long tradition of musical excellence. The band has received rave reviews show after show throughout 2019 and the band today is as strong musically as it ever has been. Paul McNair has become a fan favourite; his engaging onstage persona, world class vocals and respect for the legacy of Streetheart endearing him to even the most hardcore of Streetheart fans.

With a list of chart topping hits that includes Action, Under My Thumb, Here Comes The Night, Hollywood, Tin Soldier, What Kind Of Love Is This and Look In Your Eyes, along with the most requested tracks from their catalogue of platinum albums, Streetheart’s ability to deliver top quality, highly entertaining shows to their audiences night after night is virtually guaranteed.

Streetheart has once again taken it’s place amongst the very best rock acts in the country and you can expect great things ahead from Streetheart as the band continues it’s musical journey forward into the future.

About Matt Andersen When Matt Andersen steps on stage, he brings a lifetime of music to every note he plays. His latest album, The Big Bottle of Joy, is all about hard-won celebration; a dozen songs infused with raw blues-rock, rollicking Americana, thoughtful folk, and ecstatic gospel. Andersen’s stage presence, buoyed by his spectacular live band (also called The Big Bottle of Joy), is informed by decades of cutting his teeth in dusty clubs, dim-lit bars, and grand theatres all over the world, delivering soulful performances that run the gamut from intimate to wall-shaking. In the studio, he’s always brought the same attention to detail and commitment to craft as he has to his live show, and the result—a multi-faceted and poignant body of work—has led him to amass over 22 million streams on Spotify and 26 million views on YouTube. In addition to headlining major festivals, clubs and theatres throughout North America, Europe and Australia, he has shared the stage and toured with Marcus King, Beth Hart, Marty Stuart, Greg Allman, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Randy Bachman, Jonny Lang, Serena Ryder, and more. Andersen nabbed the 2013 and 2016 European Blues Awards for Best Solo/Acoustic Act, was the first ever Canadian to take home top honours in the solo category at the 2010 International Blues Challenge in Memphis, won the CIMA Road Gold award in 2015, and has won multiple Maple Blues Awards.
